As a general rule, heroes receive .7% of the price of the home back after closing.   This amount could vary based on your situation and the details of the transaction.   Average reward examples are: 

Home Price of $250,000 = Average Reward of $1,750

Home Price of $400,000 = Average Reward of $2,800

Home Price of $500,000 = Average Reward of $3,500

Home Price of $750,000 = Average Reward of $5,250

Home Price of $900,000 = Average Reward of $6,300
